All of our caregivers are our employees, and they are bonded and insured. Help at Home maintains
liability insurance, workers’ compensation insurance, unemployment insurance, and employee fidelity bonds, and of course we pay all payroll taxes.

Our caregivers are required to complete our comprehensive training program which was developed by a licensed clinical social worker using nationally recognized training curriculum. Experienced trainers facilitate orientation, initial training and continuing education. New caregivers are matched with an experienced caregiver for weekly mentoring during their first 90 days. Every caregiver is required to complete three hours of continuing education every year. In-service training topics include topics such as Understanding Hospice, Fall Prevention, Nutrition, Activity and the Elderly, Understanding Parkinson’s, and many more.
